Manic Street Preachers Rapido Interview 1992I know I've posted this before BUUUUUT, this is under entirely new circumstances. My coat arrived today and it's a ringer for Nicky's in this interview. It's fabulous. I had to wait like two weeks for it to come over from the UK, but it was worth it. I also paid around sixty bucks for it. ~_~ I had no idea it was so much like Nicky's coat until it arrived today. When I bought it I thought oh cool, darker leopard swing coat in my size. And then something in me was determined to stop at nothing until I had it. I woke up in the middle of the night just to snipe it from the other girl who was bidding on it. Besides, I'm sure it looks better on me. Some where, a broad shouldered woman is bitter because I have her coat. (It's going to be like that leopard blazer the thrift store had last year that was like the one Nicky wore in the infamous photos with Richey but I left my wallet at home and my mom looked at me and said 'no.' When I went back to get it, it was gone. Six moths later I saw a woman at the carnival with the jacket and I was like Vendetta!) At last the leopard print fates have smiled upon me.

PS What did your mom say?
Gah, Buzznet cutt of my commentary! Anyroad, my mom said no. So, I went home, grabbed my money and when I went back the next day it was gone and I was all sad.
I always loved this invterview because they'rea out in the snow all miserable. I know they're in Wales but the landscape reminds me so much of northwestern Colorado it's not even funny. I dunno, just seeing them out in the snow strikes a chord inside me. Despite freezing they seem at ease in this.
I'm so happy about my coat. I tried to get a lighter leopard print last year but it went over 80 bucks and was no a go. Which now, I'm glad I lost it.
This is 1992, I believe. I was still crawlling about the floor eating bugs. Actually I don't think I ever ate bugs. I was a way cautious kid.
Psh, I don't mind the questions. I love your comments. It's refreshing. I spend seven hours a day doing most the talking.
This interview is too lovely, by the way. :)
I love this interview. The band looks great, I could watch it a million times. Probably because I notice something new every time. My brain finally clicked that Nicky was saying "articulate."
